Metamorphosis Monday--Short and Sweet

So for this week's Metamorphosis Monday, hosted by the lovely Susan at Between Naps on the Porch,
I came up with this little idea. Now, I'm thinkin' most of you have already thought of this, but for the two of you that haven't, this is for you!;-)
You know the reed diffusers that freshen a room? The kind that come in a general non-descript glass bottle? You just stick the reeds in it and be done with it. Well, I was looking at this vintage cologne bottle (pictured above) and the thought occured to me to just buy the refills instead of the whole sha-bang....fill the vintage cologne bottle with the oil, stick the reeds in it, and...
add it where-ever strikes your fancy. For me, it was on a shelf with my collection of perfume bottles above my bath tub.
Look around your house and see if there are any lovely, lonely bottles just waiting to be used as diffusers~I bet you can come up with some other wonderful ideas!
Be sure to check out other fabulous ideas over at Between Naps on the Porch!
Have a great day!

  5. What a lovely idea, ever so pretty compared to what you find in the store, I think I will help my mama make a few like that, she has these thru out her house and I think they would look so much more elegant in her own bottles. Thank you for that great idea, I had never seen in before or thought of it :) Rose
