I made it easy~Chicken salad sandwiches and grapes..with my mom-in-love's to-die-for homemade dill pickles! My daughter, Courtney, makes them with her so the family recipe is being preserved and passed down!
I bought these cute floral plates at the thrift years ago. Used the handpainted glasses again. The colors all go so well together. The sweet yellow napkins were my mother's and the tea-cup napkin holders yet another thrift store find.
For a quick little sweet something, I just tossed a few reduced-fat oreo cookies in the darling pedestal dish that I had won in Becky's giveaway. It goes perfect in my decor!
So that's it! Simple and sweet little luncheon!

ReplyDeleteOh Myrna, what a lovely table setting you did for your friend, I absolutely adore those plates, are they part of a whole set? The lunch fare looked simply delish...care to share your recipe for the sandwhiches :) I love chicken sald but don't know how to make it, a friend once made me some with grapes and I believe walnuts? it had lil crunchy bites :) but she never did share that recipe..I wish I could find a recipe without mayo or just a touch of it that still tastes amazing...Hope you are well sweet friend :) Rose
