So here's the sitting room as of today--I think I'll still be "tweaking" it here and there, but I am please with the general lay-out of the furniture. I was going for an English Cottage in winter look, so added some darker elements..
Steve calls this the quirky corner--I have been seeing and admiring displays like this--kind of a free form assemblage--so I wanted to try my hand at it. I'll let it sit awhile and maybe get back to it to hoosh it up a bit...
Okay, so now the announcement!
About two weeks ago Gabreial Wyatt, editor of an online magazine called Vintage Indi Mag. had seen my blog and contacted me to do a feature/interview in her column "My Vintage Pad"! It just posted today, so go check it out! It was a fun experience and very flattering as I think there are SO many people out there who are WAY more talented than me..but ya work with what the Lord gives ya and have fun with it, right?!
Anyway--Vintage Indi is a great Magazine and has many features that are a delight to peruse thru...be sure you have a cup of tea with you!

Hah!! Had ya fooled with the fabric softener, huh?? That's why I said to bear with me and read till the end!! I didn't want anyone trying it with fabric softener and emailing me that I ruined their "whatever"!! LOL I also did a little set of drawers with it also. Stole..........uuuuhhhh, borrowed it from my daughter! LOL
