Steve and I are going to be in the Dallas area soon~staying at the Gaylord Texan Hotel. I was wondering if anyone could give us ideas of things to see, places to eat, etc. Steve has a conference there so our time will be limited, but I'll be free during the day.... I can't help with info but I can tell you to HAVE FUN!!!

ReplyDeleteSouthern Living at HOME convention.
It is a world unto itself - restaurants, shops, indoor & outdoor pools, walking trails.
The Texan is in the city of Grapevine, so there are severeal
wineries you can visit.
Ask for info on transporation for
these at the front desk.
Main street is too cute - you will love it . DOn't leave the area
without going to see the stockyards in Fort Worth - its
worth the trip for anyone not from Texas. Grab a nice steak meal while you are in the area.
Congratulations on your grandchild to debute later in the year -
our first turns one later this month. What a whirlwind of a year - so fun - so timeless in
memories.
