I have been mulling over something I read somewhere...about calling goals 'dreams' instead. My choleric, goal-oriented friends have no problem with the word goal. I, being melancholy/sanguine, have a huge problem with that word. I can't seem to ever "reach my goal"
or "attain my goal". It's all so self-defeating to me. So I replaced that 'g-word' with DREAMS. Ahh, much better. Dreams come true. Dreams are full of hope. I don't know about you, but it works for me. Much more palatable for me.

So I had no trouble when it came to my own personal word prompt for this project.!
I started out with a cigar box, cut off the lid and covered the outside in old sheet music. The inside is covered with an old dictionary page. In the upper right hand corner you'll see 'dream-world' from the dictionary page. On the upper left hand side I stamped the word 'Dreamer'. I also stamped DREAM on the image. And on the very top is the famous quote "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams, live the life you have imagined." Not bad words to live by, if you ask me... ;-)
I glittered the flowers in the image, used the aqua crochet flower and buttons from a swap I recently participated in (Thanks again, Jessica!), and embellished the rest with vintage lace, ribbon, and flower. Oh, and I made the image three dimensional by using a wine cork! Perfect size and glues on solid!!

Oh Myrna, I love this! It is so adorable, love how it pops out in places. Ok, this is making me want to craft. Guess I need to put in a craft day or craft hours in scheduled in my week to do it, like I do with my genealogy.
