Yesterday Steve called me to let me know he's coming home from work, and then said the three words I love to hear "I'm bringing sushi!" ;-) His one request was that we eat up on our balcony off our master bedroom. So I scurried about grabbing some linens, plates, and such and set up the little bistro table we have out there.
The plates and "glassware" are all plastic. The little green creamer (which belongs to Courtney) held soy sauce...

But then when Steve came with the sushi, here are the packaged chopsticks that came with the meal! (Click on the photo for a closer look) Can you believe it? PINK FLOWERS! And cherry-blossom look that coordinates with the tablecloth! Sorry, it doesn't take much to get me all excited. ;-)
Anyway, we had a lovely, romantic dinner on our balcony overlooking the backyard. Now, that's my idea of dinner--'out'!!
Oh my hubs would have been thrilled. He adores sushi. What a great idea for a lovely romantic tablescape!

Hi! I don't think we've ever "met," but thanks so much for visiting my blog. It's so funny that hubby and I went out for sushi tonight and then I saw your post. My hubby and I eat sushi together at least once a week. I've been lots of tablescapes with our bistro sets, and I LOVE your tablecloth!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice reason to create a lovely tablescape! Your roses add a beautiful and romantic touch to an evening "out"! Hubby was sure to feel special and pampered. Very, very pretty!

ReplyDeleteHow romantic! Up there with the trees and sky, just the two of you. I've never had sushi, if you can believe that. My husband hates seafood. The outdoor setting is so special. Can't believe the sushi came with the pink included! And I love the tablecloth!

Thanks so much for stopping by my TT and your sweet comments. I hope you found the little tealight holders at your dollar tree. I thought they were just precious. The GW is Goodwill, just a silly abbreviation. I went by today and not a thing, somedays are wonderful and then other days are not. Hope you found the tealights, let me know. Hugs, Marty
