I've Been Tagged!

Jann at A Vintage Heart has tagged me and it's my understanding that the rules are as follows:

The Rules of the Tag Game: 1. Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog. 2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird. 3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs. 4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Allrighty then, here goes:

1. My favorite food is sushi...I could eat it 5 times a week. When Steve asks me out to dinner, he says "Where do you want to go, and don't say sushi!" He loves it too, but just not as often as I do!

2. I am a decorating magazine junkie. I need to join a twelve-step program for it... ;-)

3.I have had a life long crush on Donny Osmond. I used to keep it a secret as it just wasn't cool in the crowd I hung out with in High School. One of the great things about getting older is you don't care as much about what people think of you. Also, about Donny Osmond...when asked, I know his birthday in lightening speed response..December 9, 1957. But when asked about my husband, I always pause and think a minute...is it 3-4-58 or 4-3-58?? For the record, it is March 4, 1958. Sorry Steve! And I love you way more than Donny Osmond!! :-)

4. I take a lavender scented bubble bath almost every night. In the summer I have a fan blowing on me. I LOVE the scent of lavender--real, not artificial. If it IS artificial, it has to smell really real...does that make sense??

5. I read Proverbs every day. There are 31 chapters in Proverbs, so I read the same chapter as the day of the month.

6. I was a big fan (still am) of the artist Susan Rios. I was in an Art Show with her in San Diego called Designing Women. She was the featured artist and I was showing my painted glassware. I was so excited to meet her and we had lunch together. One of the biggest compliments from her was when she bought one of my pieces (a covered cheese plate). I wonder if she still has it...

7. and....hmmmm, what else..I secretly admire and wish I could be June Cleaver--wear a shirt-waist dress and pearls and keep an immaculate home. I really do love being a 'homemaker'--love the idea of the 40's & 50's housewife...

Okay, so now I tag the following:

Marietta at Sweet Old Vintage
Tiffany at Beyond The Vintage Path
Denise at Pink Pomegranate
Ceekay at Thinkin' of Home
Karla at Polka Dot Rose
Joanne at My Little Cottage in the Making
Becky at Just Bee 'n' Me

Also just wanted you to know after getting on antibiotics I am feeling MUCH better! Thanks again for your words of encouragement and prayers. I may be out of the loop for a few days as I have much to catch up on that fell by the wayside while I was sick.
TTFN!!

  2. Myrna!! I was TOTALLY in love with Donny too!!! I had his face plastered all over my bedroom wall...and I STILL think of him every December 9th!!! I would ask my husband, "Do you know what today is?" and he'd answer, "No"...I'd always annouce that it was Donny Osmond's birthday!!! He probably even remembers it by now!
I'm so very glad that you are feeling better sweetie!! Be sure to take it slow and heal completely....(((HUGS))) Dawn

  5. Hello Myrna,
Thanks for tagging me! Well my internet has been off for about a week. I just got it fixed so I will post my tag tomorrow. I moved my work
station to my new studio and I guess the hook up was not strong enough so they ran a new line. I am back in business yeah! It's so fustrating sometimes. I loved her a little more about yourself. So fun...Pinkie Denise
