Recently I had a few ladies from church over for brunch. I wanted a fun, whimsical look for the tables.
I used 'snack-sets'...heirlooms from my mom. I tucked vintage hankies into the handles of the coffee cups on each plate for napkins. The "place mats" are paper napkins I picked up several years ago--a Mackenzie/Child's' pattern. Orange juice was served in vintage punchbowl cups.
Oh, I love your table. The colors and place settings are so colorful and spring-ey! Love those vintage hankies for napkins. I always enjoy seeing your pictures! Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDelete* Oh YES! I must "DITTO MARY", and MORE!!! This is soooooo creative, and more out-of-the-box than the norm... I simply LOVE it, as it makes me SMILE!!! Soooo glad you shared! Thank you, LInda in AZ *
ReplyDeleteUsing vintage punch bowl cups as your juice glasses is such a wonderful idea. Filing it for use later on!
ReplyDeleteLove the placemats!!
What a fun, whimsical table! I love the placemats, I would never have known they were napkins. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh what fun and a great idea to use those snack sets! I like your table!
ReplyDeleteLovely, I like how you have displayed the napkins.
ReplyDeleteThe glass plates brought back lots of memories. I'm sure we used them at my wedding reception and last week they were used for a bridal shower. I love the harlequin runner. Was it McKenzie Childs too? Everything looked very inviting. Thanks for sharing. I have posted tables of different colors. Come check them out.
ReplyDeleteI love the napkins as place mats, how clever was that. Your table is just lovely.

Oh, Oh, you have given me an idea: Mod-Podge napkins onto foam core for chargers. Pretty table. Thanks for sharing and the idea to use napkins.
ReplyDeleteI use to have a whole bunch of those snack sets, but have gotten rid of them. Regrets, regrets!!! They sure look beautiful and your table. Sally
ReplyDeleteYou always do a marvelous job on your table settings! I really do enjoy your pictures! Thanks for sharing with us.
