Here are closeups of the displays I did above the kitchen windows....
...using my plethora of vintage tea towels as window treatments....
I adhered silver ware to a vintage platter using industrial-strength glue--E-6000.
This is the left side of the window..
...and here is the right side..
Stay tuned for more!! Have a lovely day....
What a clever idea. Did you have something behind them to protect them from bleaching by the sun? Your home is just so sweet.
ReplyDeleteYou are very talented. :) What a nice way to show off the pretties.
ReplyDeleteI love your decor.

ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty. I love all that room you have to put your pretties above your window.

Oh Myrna, it's enchanting. So springy.
ReplyDeleteI clicked and enlarged everything to really enjoy all of your goodies. What a clever idea to use your linens for a valance. Have a good week. Sally
ReplyDeleteI think I deleted the post I had!
ReplyDeleteThat's lovely, chickee. We passed through Sacto last week. Calif. will NOT be the same I'm sure.

Those tea towels are just brilliant, and they look so pretty on the window, instead of being in a drawer. Love it and everything you did above your windows. The plate with the flatware is so unique, and I love the basket of vintage treasures on top of the window. How wonderful to have a ledge big enough for that. laurie
