Tablescape Tuesday

Susan at Between Naps on the Porch, has been hosting Tablescape Tuesday for the past several weeks. I just recently discovered her blog--check it out--it fabulous! I've decided to play, along with other sweet gals that are posted on Susan's blog.
So here's my breakfast table...28 years ago a friend gave me a set of Liberty Blue dishes, and I've collected more over the years--meat platters, sugar and creamer, etc. I picked this tablecloth up at a thrift store last year just in time for fall.
The mirror plateau I purchased at a flea market, the pitcher that's holding my roses was a gift from my step-mom, Leilani. The Amber candleholders are thrift store finds as well as the little tea light holder. The figurine was my mother's---she purchased it when she and my dad visited Oberammergau many years ago. She is so perfect for the fall season.
The napkins, napkin rings AND silverware were are thrift store finds!!
And the cute pumpkins? The Dollar Tree!! Boy--I love a good deal! :-)

Have a Happy Tuesday!!

  12. Though everything is lovely, what I value more are the memories that are associated with your table setting. The dishes from a friend so long ago, the vase from your step-mom, and the figurine that belonged to your Mother are what sets it apart for me.

  13. Hi Myrna, it's so nice to meet you...thank you for the sweet comment you left for me! Yes, I have done the Woman's Heart Bible study...it is still my very favorite one! My women's group is doing Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed: A Study of David right now. It is taken from the Deeper Still event and is a very good study - only six weeks long, too. We are finishing up Week 2 tonight and have really enjoyed hearing teaching by Prisilla Shirer (Tony Evans' daughter). I love your tablescape, especially the tablecloth...I have loved that fabric for years. I'll be back often!
