Upon returning from Cancun (where there was no Internet) I was astonished and amazed to find I had won this month's Mind Wide Open challenge! Thank you to all who voted for me and for your kind words of congratulations and encouragement!I had written in a previous post how Steve often leaves me little love notes around and I've saved them and will now store them in my "Beloved Box". He is a wonderful, loving man and I love him dearly--even more than when we married 30 years ago. That said, I had to show you what note greeted me one morning on the kitchen counter about a month ago--

Boy, the romance just resonates from that note! It's funny though, my husband always wants me to find the thing that stinks...like is that only a female job? You better to be sure to keep that sweet message in your winner of a box!!! Congrats

ReplyDeleteOh, how I laughed and laughed when I saw that note...it is sort of on the same level at having your loved one sniff the milk carton, wrinkle his nose, and hand the carton to you and say, "I think this is bad...taste it and see if it is..." Have a great Thanksgiving!

LOL LOL!!! I discovered your blog while checking out the links on Judy's Postcards blog and just had to comment on this! I've been married for 29 years, and we have two boxes containing all the letters and cards (Xmas, Birthday, anniversary, Valentine, Easter) that we've ever sent each other. Can't bear to throw them out!
